Our Booking Policy
We require a deposit to secure all appointments. Your deposit must be paid within 1 hour of making the booking in order to confirm your appointment. Details will be sent to you automatically via email upon booking. The deposit will go towards your final bill.

- Microlinks, Tape-In installs, Texture Release = N75,000 deposit.
- LA Weave, Sew-in Weave = N50,000 deposit
- Colour services (balayage, highlights) = N75,000
All other services require a N25,000 deposit
Deposits are non-refundable, and in the event that you have not paid a deposit your booking will be cancelled. Deposits can be transferred to another date & service with a 48 hours notice (you can self-move your appointment up to 48 hours before your appointment via the ‘manage this appointment’ link provided to you via your confirmation email). Any notice that exceeds 48 hours automatically forfeits your deposit. Please note that deposits are mandatory for every client, whether new or returning.
Please ensure you follow the instructions sent to you via email as TAUPE is not liable for any deposits sent to us without you following instructions (i.e. not replying with a receipt) – any payment sent to us is non-refundable so please be sure you want to book an appointment with us before paying a deposit.
If you are unsure of which service to book, please contact us or book a general consultation with us.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you receive your full service. We allow a grace period of lateness for up to 15 minutes. Please ensure you notify us when you are running late, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, there may be a late fee applied. If you are excessively late we regret that we may need to alter or reschedule your appointment and your deposit will be forfeited. If you do not notify us and do not show up to your appointment, you will lose your deposit.
TAUPE is a boutique salon and as such, we cannot accommodate extra guests especially in order to maintain social distancing. Therefore, we do not accept extra guests and children at the salon.
Our prices are a guide and are subject to change after consultation depending on the calculation of resources. Salon prices are subject to change without notice.
We recommend that you come in with your hair ready and de-tangled for the service(s) booked.
You must let us know if your hair requires de-tangling prior to your service (please leave a note when booking your appointment). If de-tangling your hair exceeds 15 minutes for us, an extra fee of N20,000 will be incurred.
Please also bear in mind that there will be a fee from N10,000 if we need to take out cornrows from your hair as this affects the length of your appointment. Cornrows with extensions will be charged as "extension removal".
Although we recommend skin tests and strand test, it is at your own risk should you choose to decline these recommendations.
